The two batteries will not increase your engine power, one is for the normal running of the vehicle the other is used for towing and accessories. if the engine has a mechanical injection pump, yuo canot up the power if it is fly by wire it is possible to upgrade. However have you checked the filters, clutch etc.?

Hi,
if there is no power coming out from the relay, that will be the problem. as you said it is new, check it manually by connecting the terminal into the power source and check the continuity of the the output from the source.
Sometimes there is new parts that has a manufacturer defect. try another relay.

Hope that helps you out!

i do not know, but stop using the car until you fix it. If you overheat the turbo, it will be damaged beyond repair, and it is extremely costly to substitute.

Is there a difference between a 1991 Toyota MR2 Turbo 2.0 when it comes to alternators? Specifically, automatic vs manual and output? Thanks

NO there is no difference for the alternators, You can get a aftermarket alternator with a higher amp out put, but you really just need to up grade your Battery with a deeper cycle battery. This will improve the life of your alternator. Good luck and hope this helps you get you decide what you like to do with replacing the alternator

Car turns over but will not start

Not familiar with the Porsche, but one thing worth checking it the Ignition fuse in the fuse panel. I had a car in the past that burnt that fuse when the battery was low on power and we tried to crank it.
Hope this helps.

Good Luck
