Question about 1996 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
My truck stalls while driving down the road, and then starts up again. The radio and blower stay on after shutting down. I changed the fuel pump thinking that was the problem and still quit. i checked the ground wire from the frame to the top of gas tank, there is one connected to the frame but it unsure where it goes...it's black with covering at the tip where its disconnected...i have a 1996 chevy silverado 5.7L...the wire seems short...

I have a 99 CK2500 that had simular problems. If at a stopsign or redlight some times it would die. If under way it would cut out for a second but not die. It ended up being the crank sensor. Hope this helps...Justin

Should be on the passenger side kickplate below the glovebox and to the right. You may have to remove the plastic panel to access it or look for a small hole in it and feel around for the button

when you pull the hub off take a picture of the brakes so you can see all the parts, so you can tell where everthing goes back together.
