Does the vehicle have diff locks, if it has it sounds like they are in. take it to your transmission specialist but dont drive far as this will damage your diferentials and your transmission

K1500 transfer case switch

some of those are vacuum controlled the most common place for them to break is just behind the engine at the intake passenger side check there first. another thing that comes to mind would be the 4x4 accuator located on the front of the front axcel is simply removed by unplugging it and unscrewing it counter clock wise.

My 2006 trailblazer is making a whinning noise, it starts when I start the car and gets louder as I accelerate.

I had this problem with my 2006 Trailblazer and it was the idle tension pulley. (If you change it yourself---don't make the mistake I did----get the spacer out of the old one and put on the new one-----spacer is hard to get!) Hope that helps you.

It depend on how fast your going when you kick in four wheel drive. You should be doing no more than 20 mph for it to kick in.

The ABS light and StabiliTrak check lights are on and cannot clear them. I was driving fine. Stopped at my shop. Got back in and lights were on. Tried to clear using on/off switch. No luck. We have had bad...

Chances are it is a bad ABS sensor. Only real way to know is to get the computer scanned. I had the same problem on my Town & Country. Stopped for gas got back in and the lights were on. Scanned computer and found out that I have 2 bad sensors. Some auto sores will scan for free. Not sure if they can do ABS codes though.
Hope this helps

1989 chev 2500 wont go into 4wheel drive i was wondering where it gets it power from to tell you when it is in 4wheel drive is there a switch on the transfer case to tell the switch to lock in the wheel...

There is a swith on the xfer case. Do this...Key on engine off select 4wd. With a 12 volt test light go to the front axle and disconnect 4 way connector and check for power to front axle actuator (About 2 inch in diameter screws into axle on pass side) I believe wire color is brown. If you have power you have a bad acuator (unscrew from axle). If you do not have power you have a bad xfer case sw or blown fuse.

Whinning noise from front of vehicle

check your idler, and tensioner pully's, i've seen a few trailblazers that whine and it turns out to be an idler pully, also check the power steering fluid and make sure its full in accordance with your owners manual

2002 Trailblazer stalling when driving

Do the fuel filter first.
Then check the fuel pressure.
Then do the pump if that shows there is a problem.
