1997 pontiac sunfire, i have a 2 pin connector loose, but i dont know where it goes. it is on the passenger side close to headlight, all lights work. it is a black and yellow wire taped in the harness...

There is a yellow and black wire in the wiring diagram that is for the low coolant sensor in the overflow tank.
Your model may not use this sensor.

97 pontiac bonneville. The cooling fans are not working and the engine temperature climbs when stopped. Also, the coolant gauge is coming on as low but it is full.

if your fans are electric check fuses and relay if they are good replace your coolant temp sensor that is what is most likely wrong anyway cheap at auto zone they are normally located right by thermostat housing or in the side of the block it tells your cars ecu when to cut on fans.

if your fan is belt driven replace you fan clutch and problem solved

if this helps you could you leave me good feedback thanks

1997 Pontiac Grand Prix GT; Elec problem with fan

Replace the blower resistor that is mounted next to the blower motor on the passenger side of the vehicle.
This will restore correct blower operation and I suspect it is also back-feeding voltage resulting in your electrical issues.
Two screws hold the blower resistor into the heater case and it is very easy to replace.
Good luck

My 1997 Pontiac Sunfie Tires on the front have extreme wear on the inner edge more on the drivers side, than the passenger side they were installed new with only 6000kl driven What causes this .

Hi, The problem is that it is out of alignment. You should have noticed this problem on your other tires. If it was tire balance the wear would be uneven. Take it and have it aligned and rotate the tires and this should Fixya!
