I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado Ext Cab Z71, no sound is coming out
No sound is coming out of my speakers. No radio, no warning chimes, nothing. I think this happened before and it fixed itself years ago. But now it's been a couple of days and still no sound. Everything else is working fine. Can someone help!

Seat belt and any warning chimes do not come from the radio, they usually come from a unit under the dash, what you are describing is probabl;y a blown fuse problem. I would checkfuses with a teat light as some fuses may not appear blown.

The audible warnings alert the driver of a system concern or a critical vehicle condition. The radio generates the audible warnings through the speaker. The radio receives audible warning requests via the serial data circuit. If the radio receives multiple audible warning requests, the warning with the highest priority sounds first. The following lists the audible warning priority and the pulse rate:

My 2003 chevy Silverado V6 truck turns over but will not start..it acts lik. ... iS IT HARD TO REMOVE AN OIL PAN ON A 4.3 VORTEC S-10 PICK UP TRUCK ...silverado 1500 ext. cab. my problem is while driving on the highway my truck ... mytruck then took off the terminal to see if the alternator was work and now i have no .
in 1991 chevy used 3 differant trasmission's a 4L60-E, 4L80-E and a 700R4 in 1993 they used 2 differant transmissions a 4L60-E and a 4L80-E if your truck has the 700R4 then the 93 transmissions will not work if you ned to find out what you have in your truck and what is in the other truck. if they are the same they will swap the only diffance in the ext. cab and reg cab is the drive shaft. but the transmission have to be the same modles a 4L60-E will not replace a 4L80-E and nothing will replace the 700R4.
I don't think it is a fuse.
The warning chimes for this vehicle come through the radio and are play to the speakers and if I remember correctly the chimes play to the left front speaker.
I would check for a faulty speaker or wiring to the speaker.
sending unit on the fuel pump in the tank is stuck, and needs to be replaced. its expensive, but that will fix your issue. its the housing around the pump that has the float arm on it. you can try to free the float arm by removing your pump assembly, but cant guarantee its any good after being stuck
