This can be very difficult to do you must make sure the baterry for the vehicle is disconnected you must remove the casing around the location of the ignition key barrel and there should be a few little pins holding the cylinder in itself with a plug attached be advised though some vehicles with electronic keys may crank over but not run without reprogramming the computer because the car may read the new key set up as someone trying to steal the car just make sure the battery is unhooked this is very important

What should I do when changing out the transmission pan on a 2005 645ci should I use all new fluid or half or top off the old?

Best not to re-use fluids because if it has been leaking it is possible that it could also have been drawing in some contaminants. Play safe and use fresh if you can. That said, it wouldn't be the end of the world to use it again, just unadvisable.
New gaskets are also advisable as they tend to stick to both surfaces and split when removing.

I have a 2004 645ci,the main control display turned off for a couple of minutes and then on,it has done this a couple of times in a year and now it doesnt come on at all. Also the key in the ignition/door...

I was told that if you replaced the battery and it does not have enough CCA's then your computer shuts down and intermites at times. In addition, other indicators will not work the same, for example seat belt light indicator comes on, or stays on.

I have a 2005 645CI... THE VIDEO MODULE KEEPS SAYING BMW, IT DOESNT CONVERT TO THE MENU... IN OTHER WORDS THE CAR'S COMPUTER IS NOT WORKING... NO NAVI, NO ENTERTAINMENT, NO COMMUNICATION OPTIONS I CNT DO...

That might happen if you replaced your own car battery. The new battery voltage has to be regulated to the cars electronics when putting in a new battery. BMW says there the only ones that can do it and it cost 700 for battery and install. Otherwise the sensitive electronics in the car go bye, bye then its major money to fix.

Ignition switch / Lock Barrel seems loose.

Its more time consuming than you would think. It involves the following tasks;1) Disassembling the lower dashboard, below the steering wheel 2) Actually replacing the lock, which is difficult because of special allen tools required, and locating the release pin. 3) carefully reconnect the wiring (simple task) 4) changing ALL the other locks, if you desire to have a master key again.( about 5 of them)

I have a 2005 suzuki verona, the key sometimes seem to lock and will not turn and you might not have this problem for a couple days. I trying to figure out if it is the ignition switch or the ignition...

It seems that the springs in the ignition key receiver are getting loose. If not replaced sometimes the key will not come out at all, to make matters worse. This replacement will most likely be done by a machanic or dealer. The key always sticks at a akward place. Take it from me - Please replace
