Try a breakers, but it normally has to be the same vehicle, make and model. They make minor changes most years in an effort to get people to buy new models.

Are they a reliable car. Do they have any major flaws. Are they expensive to service. I'm looking at buying one.

You did not mention what type of car it was. In any case, you can check out the reliability and owner comments by using google and checking the vehicle reliability statistics. You will find lots of good information in this way.

Hi I have a mazda etude 160i 2000 model I have put on the timming belt and the marks are set correctly but my car still dont want to start. What could be the problem.

Hello Andre, I would give it a compression check. If the timing belt broke or slipped, it might have bent some valves.

I am looking at purchasing a second hand car its a 2000 model petrol 101000 miles. However they describe it as having a smokey engine on startup. Is this a major problem? Is it going to be costly to...

Smokey engine at startup means that the valve seats and bushings are worn out - major refit needed - stay away, it might cost you more than the car itself.

Thinking of buying a 07 Nissan Sentra 4dr Sedan, car inspection noted: " mild noise while driving sounds like valve train or injectors noise" Is this a major concern?

You bet it can be a major concern. It may be a minor issue but it may be a major problem. Why take a chance? There are plenty of used cars out there with no problems. Walk away from this car and do not look back.

Check engine code reflects a vacuum hose leak

Is this a vehicle you own or are considering buying? If it's the latter, let me say from my own personal experience I wouldn't consider buying a vehicle with such high mileage unless it's a foreign car like a Civic, even then it's a major risk that you will have transmission or engine problems shortly after buying. However, if are serious about this purchase and you think there may be a vacuum leak, open the hood, start the car and listen for any hissing. That's a definite indication there may be a disconnected or broken vacuum line.
