Question about 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Hello~ I have a 1990 Jeep Cherokee and have been having a problem with the Back-up lights on it. I cant seem to locate where they hook up underneath near or on the tranny? Or? Can anyone help me?
Am I looking in the right spot?
Thanks for your time.
How did I know you were looking for the switch, not a diagram???
If you did not find it yet, The neutral safety switch is on the right side of the trans opposite where the shift linkage enters on the drivers side (its the same shaft) Removal is a pain, and the part is over $200 as far as I know. If you are careful, you can take the switch apart and clean the contacts (they fall out so watch where they are) 9 out of ten times this works.
