When you disconnected the battery, the CPU (computer) modulke got de-programmed. disconnect the negative cable from the battery. Wait a minute then reconnect. you may have to do this several times. The purpose is to reprogram the computer.

That is impossible .It is not because of that that the relay could have blown. I've done it many times. Something else is wrong with your car.

Why does my deawoo over heat and blows hot air out the radaitor cap

Sounds like you dont have enough coolant in the system. wait till it is cold fill up the coolant system, then start it up. as the gauge reaches operating temperature watch your cooling fans and see if they turn on. if it just gets hotter and hotter and the fans dont turn on then you may have a bad connection, blown fuse, or relay. if the fan turns on but your car continues to get hot replace your thermostat. if you are still having problems it is most likely your water pump. you may want to check the weep hole located on the bottem side of the pulley, if it is weeping water then the bearing is toast and you need to replace it, you can also loosen the belt and wiggle the pulley around, if it moves around its likely toast if it seems good and tight it should be fine, also check all heater core hoses, bypass hoses, radiator hoses for loose ends, cracked hoses, bad fittings, etc.. you can check the radiator by looking for drips while its running or my taking it in to a radiator shop and having it pressure tested.

Heater blower motor working but not getting any heat, has new radaitor, water pump, thermastat and belt

heater unit needs a flush out with the hose ,reverse flow as well ,if it still doesnt get that hot remove it and fill with a caustic solution .if its that cold outside try the old truckers trick ,put some card in front of the rad 2/3 cover but leave the fan area open

Replaced radiater ,thermastat still no heat and

Did you run engine from cold, WITH HEATER ON, and fill cap off when re-filling system? If not, try that and see what happens. Let the engine get up to operating temperature and rad fan come on to cool 2 or 3 times before putting cap back on.

Van is overheating and stays hot

first of all make sure that there is no air pockets left in the motor. these will cause an overheat right away.

the way to cure these is run engine with and radaitor funnel and once thermo opens, run the heater on high, this should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
