You can try autopartswarehouse.com or cartparts street.I ahve personally ordered parts from these sites and they are lower priced and good quality.

Instructions on replacing 1994 cadillac deville power steering pump

Then I would suggest a repair shop

It just requires basic sockets & wrenches

More metric than decimal, but you need both to
work on any vehicle

We have no instructions, use the site as you do

How do you fix the power steering of a 2006 chevy malibu, when drive the steering wheel locks up and its very hard to turn.

a few possibilities.
Low power steering fluid. check for correct amount on pump filler measureing guage.

Loose power steering belt. check to see if the belt slips over the power steering pulley while trying to turn the steering wheel. may need an assistant.

last, but most expensive. Rack and pinion steering bar is defective and needs replacing.

Changeing a power steering pump

CHANGING POWER STEERING PUMP YOU HAVE TO PLACE A DRAIN PAN UNDER THE VECHICLE. SIPHON OUT POWER STEERING FLUID WITH A SIPHONER DONT USE YOUR MOUTH TO SIPHON SWALLOWING POWER STEERING FLUID CAN BE FATAL MAKE YOU SICK.WHEN ALL POWER STEERING FLUID IS REMOVED FROM POWER STEERING PUMP.REMOVE DRIVE BELT.THEN REMOVE THE POWER STEERING PUMP.THEN YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE POWER STEERING PUMP PULLEY THE NEW POWER STEERING PUMP DONT HAVE A PULLEY YOU HAVE TO HAVE REMOVE PULLEY FROM THE OLD POWER STEERING PUMP.YOU NEED A PUMP PULLEY REMOVER AND A PULLEY INSTALLER.YOU CAN TAKE OLD POWER STEERING PUMP AND NEW POWER STEERING PUMP TO A MACHINE SHOP.THEY WILL REMOVE PULLEY OFF OLD PUMP PRESS IT ON NEW POWER STEERING PUMP.THAT WOULD BE CHEAPER THAN BUYING THE PULLER AND INSTALLER.GO TO AUTO PARTS STORE BUY NEW HIGH PRESSURE LINE O RING GOES TO PRESSURE LINE GOING INTO POWER STEERING PUMP.ONCE YOU GET NEW PUMP READY PULLEY BEEN PRESSED ON.TAKE POWER STEERING PUMP HOME PUT IT ON. BLEED POWER STEERING SYSTEM.WHAT YOU DO WHEN YOU GET NEW PUMP INSTALLED HIGH PRESSURE LINE IN PLACE.PUMP BOLTED IN DRIVE BELT ON POUR POWER STEERING FLUID IN POWER STEERING PUMP UNTIL FLUID LEVEL STOP DROPPING AND YOUR LEVEL ON POWER STEERING DIP STICK AT COLD LEVEL.NOW START CAR UP LET IT IDLE FOR 3 MINUTES.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE CHECK POWER STEERING FLUID IF FLUID LEVEL DROP ADD LITTLE MORE UNTIL LEVEL ON DIP STICK ON COLD MARK DONT OVER FILL.NOW SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT FRONT OF VECHICLE. START THE ENGINE.TURN STEERING WHEEL FROM ALL THE WAY FROM LEFT TO RIGHT DONT STOP LOCK WHEEL .GO LEFT TO RIGHT SEVERAL TIMES.THEN TURN OFF ENGINE CHECK FLUID LEVEL.IF ALL IS GOOD LET VECHICLE BACK DOWN LET IT SIT FOR A WHILE CHECK FLUID AGAIN.DONT DRIVE VECHICLE IF POWER STEERING PUMP MAKE NOISES OR YOUR STEERING FEEL STIFF HARD TO TURN.JUST MAKE SURE FLUID LEVEL RIGHT AND DRIVE BELT TIGHT GOOD LUCK.

My power steering is leaking and i dont know what part is leaking, what is the most common part to leak from power steering? and how much would it cost me to get it fixed?

Common part to leak is the high side power steering hose from the pump to the steering rack or steering box. You can replace the hose your self with common tools and you can pick up the hose at Auto Zone with instructions to get the job done your self.

I could go further but i don't know what type of car you have, but you can log on to Auto Zone.com for the price of the hose you need and the instructions free of charge.

Thank you for using Fixya and good luck.

Power stearing leak

All depends what is leaking. For power steering leaks there is not much to do but replace the leaking part. If it is a hose it is not a big deal. If it is the power steering pump itself check autozone, etc for availability. They'll probably have to order it in for you. Sometimes you luck out and the leak is due to a seal where a hose is screwed into the pump or the rack and pinion unit. I believe some auto parts places carry stop leak for power steering units but I have no experience with them. One last thought is if the car is pretty old and the leak a slow one, you just check your power steering fluid periodically because you can buy a whole lot of power steering fluid for the price you'll pay for a power steering pump. You can also consider a replacement from a junk yard. Generally power steering pumps out last the cars they are put in.

How much is a power steering pump for a 2000 Silhouette?

http://www.autozone.com/autozone/catalog/parts/partsShelf.jsp?displayName=Power+Steering+Pump&currentPage=1&categoryDisplayName=Suspension+%26+Steering&navValue=14600160&itemId=160-0&parentId=46-0

This link is for your vehicle, note the "core charge".You will get that back when you give them your old pump. They then rebuild it and sell it to someone else.Prices are simular for all auto parts stores, most will even price match if you take in the competitors add.Good luck!

Power steering bomb

I presume you mean the 2.2L 4cyl, and by "bomb" you mean the power steeing pump. I use RockAuto.com for my parts, good price and service. That's where I got my Cavalier parts when I owned an '02 a year ago. They have a pump for $66 ($49 after you return the old core).

Hope this helps.
