Remove the Console Assy and they are replaced from the Inside of the Console. Remove the Phillips Screw at the Front of the Console, then pinch your Fingers behind both sides of the Console next to each Light Bezel and PULL Down. The Console assy has 2 Metal clips that hold it up - Very Easy, just pull the assembly straight down.
Pardon the delay,Jean Marie. It's been a busy holiday season MERRY CHRISTMAS, by the way! The upper "console" can be unscrewed by one screw nearest the windshield. To find it, just move your fingers over the housing until you touch a "dimple" in the housing near the windshield straight on your line of site. Now, I don't recall if it is a TORX or Phillips head screw (wager: TORX20-30) but it will make it loose. Then pry the front (GENTLY!) away from the ceiling using a wide blade putty knife or panel removal tool. It should pop off to reveal a bunch of wires and a couple of light bulbs. They are long, "mini" looking things that resemble florescent lights or the old glass fuses cars used to have. Reassemble in reverse of your current steps, and GO!!
If you're talking about the map lights (2 lights in between driver and passenger)
If you have just the map lights, just pull the whole assembly out. Don't worry about anything breaking, just pull it down, just not at an angle or anything. It easily snaps back into place after. Bulbs can be removed once you have it out.
If you have an overhead console, you remove a screw towards the front of the overhead console Then just pull. If you're talking about other interior lights, let me know I'll let you know how to remove it.
i had the same probmlem its coming from one of 3 lights is the center quick fix was to use clear silicon from wal mart .. also it can leak from the moulding near the corners of the windsheald but rare...
I had the same issue with my 2008 w/ moonroof. It's tough but you just have to evenly apply pressure on both sides and pull it straight down. There's two pressure clips that are holding it. I replaced with LEDS, the rear was tough as well!
Use a small screw driver and pry open the garage door opener storage bin. You will see 1 screw there that you will remove.
Pull the front of the overhead console down and remove the console from the console retaining clips.
Sunroof console (where the map lights are located) has a black screw you can turn with a coin. Located just beyond the map lights. Turn 1/4 turn and that panel releases. There is a manual handle that is snapped into the console towards the back left. It is not that big. It is black and "T" shaped. Insert that handle into the motor which is located directly beneath the panel. It is brass colored most likely. about the size of a deck of cards. The handle tip inserts there. Turn handle until stops and pull down to disengage the motor. You should then be able to operate the crank. I had same problem. Had a tough time closing roof. Works intermittently. Don't know if it is the motor or switch. I think motor as I hear mine trying to engage but it is no longer moving the roof panel. Good luck.
