The car stes a P0100 and a P0335 code. The 335 code will reset but the 100 code does not.

p0100 is the mass airflow sensor. You might can clean it with carb cleaner first, if still don't work then replace the sensor.

Where are the O2 sensors? I found one directly behing the spark plugs on the back.

The O2 sensor (2 on V engines) are in the exhaust system pipes before the catalytic converter, the next sensor is the efficiency monitor for the catalytic converter system it looks like a O2 sensor but performs a much different function as far as testing goes. The codes you have follow.

P0420 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold Bank 1
What does this mean? In most cases it means the catalytic converter is worn out and that is sensed by the catalyst monitor I spoke of earlier.

P0102 - Mass or Volume Air Flow Circuit Low Input
Faulty mass air flow sensor
- Dirty mass air flow sensor (located in the air intake hose to the engine from the air cleaner)
- Dirty air filter
- Mass air flow sensor harness is open or shorted
- Mass air flow sensor electrical circuit poor connection
- Intake air leaks

96 buick skylark runs about 3 seconds then dies.whats wrong?

Fuel pumps don't slowly go out, they either work or they don't. I recommend replacing the mass air flow sensor, which is the square metal piece that's mounted in the middle of the big air tube that runs from the air filter housing to the intake. I replace the front head on mine and during the reassembly, I forgot to plug the wire back into the MAF sensor and had a similar problem. I would have it tested first if possible. If u have any other questions abt this car, feel free to send em to me directly, especially if yours has the 3.1 V6.

Low or no power, changed the mass air flow sensor? OBD showed a problem on left side cat converter? Runs good one day and bad the next. Problem started after hurricane. Acts like exhaust is plugged ...

If its showing a catalytic converter code,,dont keep replacing other sensors..Has nothing at all to do with the map or the mass air flow sensor...Likely its the cat is clogged..That code tells you that your cat is not doing its job..I would change that cat on that side,,and quit letting the mechanic throw parts on the car..Thats to expensive

Need to locate the mass air flow sensor on a 2001 Buick 3.8 V6 so I can remove and clean

its near the throttle body, but its a waste of time to clean it, if its bad, cleaning wil not fix it. replace it.

When you start the car it turns over but as soon as you release the key it dies. the car is a 1987 cuick century 2.8liter v6

try rapping the mass air flow box located between the air filter box and throttle body assembly. if it affects running it's probably bad. VERY common problem. so common there may be a replacement chip for the inside of the computer that bypasses it altogether using the map sensor instead.
