You need to have it analyzed with a scan tool that can check engine sensor data parameters . This problem could be from any number thing's . Could need throttle plate cleaning ,EGR valve pintle sticking , IAC - idle air control passages an seat carboned up , Mass air flow sensor dirty , An intake manifold vacuum leak .How does it run other then your stalling problem ? how many miles on the vehicle ? What make , model an year vehicle ? What size engine does it have ? Does it have electronic throttle control ? Is the check engine light on or any other lights ?
when the traction control is activated , there is a reduction of power from the engine to compensate for that lost traction control
run the fault codes , repair the reason for the traction control light and then reset the computer using a scan tool and the engine power will return
The mass air flow sensor, the throttle body and the idle air control motor need a good cleaning. Use a brush and brake clean everything except the Mass air flow sensor, just spray it down, both sides. After you clean it, it will take a few second to restart.
Anytime you make a change to any part of the emissions system, its best to disconnect the
battery for a few minutes. If you don't, the computer retains the fault code and it will usually keep
coming back. When all power is lost to the computer, it will do a complete scan when reconnected
and engine started. Try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes then reconnect and see what happens.
