There's a solenoid block on the back of the 4X4 transfer cas that fails and brings the 4X4 lights on go to your dealer they should be able to fix this very easily as it is a common problem

F250 2008 go to take off easy 4x4 low light starts blinking and it starts surging. If u take off kinda fast it doesn't do it. Do u know what causes this

You need the control module scanned for fault codes, this requires a dealer or a well equipped repair shop that knows Fords.

How to reset abs light 95 gmc Sierra km 4x4

Often once the fault that caused the light to switch on has been cured the light will go out. If it doesn't either the fault(s) haven't been fixed or diagnostic equipment will be needed.

A few early abs vehicles might reset by disconnecting the battery for a while

My parents have a 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the Dash lights and parking lights go on and off. What could cause this problem

The park and dash lights are on the same circuit and controlled by the park light switch. Initially I would say, look at the switch and its terminals and wires for loose contacts or bad connections. Switch the lights on and fiddle around with the wires around the switch and the switch itself and try to repeat the problem. When the lights go off you know that you are in the area of the cause of the problem and you should be able to work out a cure.

1997 ford explorer limited; used 4x4 a couple days ago (we had a lot of snow) and now is stuck on 4x4 low also every time i drive it the (o/d off) light blinks repeatedly.

Your transmission should be in neutral when shift from 4x4 low to high. Also the brake needs to be depressed. If you have done that I would say it is a solenoid in the transfer case or the relay that drives the transfer case solenoid.

Blinking Center Diff Light while vehicle on the move.

The pajero has a limp mode for when there is an issue with the 4x4 system. The ECU apparently limits the vehicles capabilities until the problem is fixed. By turning the car off and on again you are reseting the fail-safe until it again triggers. The fault may be that a part of the drive train, secondary transfer case or auto locking hubs is not working correctly. For my Pajero, the auto hubs were not disengaging. This was later found to be caused by sticking air solendoids. Each solenoids cost was about $200 and there are two for the hubs. I was able to free them up by soaking the solenoids in CRC/ WD40 and a bit inside the air tubes as well plus repeatedly engaging and disengaging the 4x4 lever to activate the hubs. The auto hubs may not be the issue in your case but its worth a try.
