Question about 2001 Saab 9-3
Most economical way to replace key and reprogram for security system?
Try taking the CID/TWICE fuse out and as long as the key works mechanically in the tumbler you should be all set. They are nice cars to drive, but these stupid little security things are a big hassle and ****. I mean how many thieves out there and how frequently does a 5 year old saab get stolen? Let alone the stupid factory cassette player, which incidentally also is code protected.

The only way is through the dealer.
Sorry to say.
