Question about 2005 Ford F-150
Transmission burnt out on f150 this afternoon no warning sign the only thing that did appear on the dashboard was the o/d signal which is overdrive.the truck will not even drive. it will reverse but wont drive .exactly what is the problem?
Hey, it could be clutches bad, get a bottle of transmission fluid and se what it smells like, then pull the stick on your tranny and see if it smells way different, like it has been burned or over cooked..lol. Also, if you know some one with a scanner you can see the codes for the transmission and it will tell what is wrong. Hope this may help you. Also before you pay a bunch of money to get it fixed, let me know I bet I can help you save some real bucks.
