Question about 1995 Jeep Wrangler

Sputters when i first take off

I have a 1995 jeep wrangler. For about a half a mile after taking off and driivng my jeep sputters and has no power. It finally stops and runs fine. Can you please tell me what I can do to stop or correct the problem?. thanks,

You need to replace the throttle position sensor. This is a very easy fix that shouldn't take more than half an hour. At the base of the intake tube into the throtle body there is a simple two wire conector to your T.P.S. and two Torx bolts. the part should be about $50 and i wouldn't pay more then $60 to have it replaced.

93 wrangler spits sputters and backfires sometimes ,them will take off and run fine ? Has over 130000 miles on it , is in good shape . Has 4.0 in line six cly. will a elec. fuel pump cause this?

when it hit 60/70 miles it spit sputters somtimes i change plugs , wires, cap still does the same
can you tell me what i need to look for.

hi april, it sounds like the camshaft position sensor is failing!...question?, does your temperature gauge work normaly?, is there any check engine lights on? if so let me know the code number and i can help ya! good luck, marty

Yes it is two things.a Air Filter or your Catalytic converter is stopped up.just got done fixing one
