If you cant start it because of the alarm disconnect the battery, wait ten secs, reconnect then turn the key in the driver's door twice holding for 2 seconds on the second turn, this should reset the alarm.

This worked for us! Our Jeep was stalling after a couple seconds because of a malfunction with the alarm. Onepiceatati's suggestion resolved the problem in less than 2 minutes.

What are the size of the bolts that go on a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo starter

The size of the bolts that go on the starter of a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo will depend on the model of starter you are using. In general, most starters use bolts that are M6, M8, or M10 in size.
To determine the size of the bolts you need, you will need to refer to the manufacturer's specifications for your particular starter. You can usually find this information in the documentation that came with the starter, or by contacting the manufacturer.
It is also important to note that the starter bolts may not be the same size as the original bolts that came with the vehicle. If you are replacing the starter, make sure to use the correct size bolts as specified by the manufacturer of the starter. Using the wrong size bolts could result in damage to the starter or the vehicle.

I have a jeep grand cherokee laredo 1993, the security system have been activated and now when I start it, it will only stay started for a few seconds. tried turning the key all the way to the right and...

first use your remote, lock-unlock-lock-unlock 5 times. use the key to unlock the door. lock with remote. If this fails, disconnect battery for 5 min. reconnect, should reset control module..

1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo Alarm system

There are switches on the door lock cylinders that are supposed to shut the alarm off when you use the key,but they go bad allot. you could try unlocking the passenger door first, since that one usually gets less use and is less likely to go bad. Otherwise you can disconnect the alarm module, it is located behind the glove box.
