I need a serial # for the bolt on my engine motor mount.

Bolts don't have serial numbers. Use the remaining bolt as a sample when you go to the auto parts store. You can get the bolt from a hardware store too.

Im buying this truck for $500. the only thing i hear wrong with it is the motor shakes bad almost like the bolts mounting to the tranny r bad. can those bolts be replaced and the motor and tranny stay...

i would check the motor mounts to make sure the bolts are tight, then i would check the rear transmission mount bolts, also to make sure they are tight. yes , if the bolts mounted to the tranny need to be replaced, you can normally get them from a auto part store.

How to remove starter motor

  • Disconnect the cable from the truck battery's negative terminal. Raise and secure the F150 on jack stands.
  • Disconnect the wiring from the starter motor solenoid. Remove the hex nut holding the cable to the B+ terminal and remove the cable. Do the same with the cable connected to the S terminal.
  • Disconnect the starter's ground cable from its lower mounting stud by removing its bolt, then remove the mounting fasteners attaching the starter motor to the engine. The starter has two or three bolts depending on the engine, with the lower bolt being a stud bolt. Remove the starter motor.

I need to know if the 4G63 in my 2005 Mistubishi EVO VIII is a 6 bolt motor or a 7 bolt motor

if it is the original motor, it will be a 7 bolt. 6 bolts are from the earlier motors (like 89-94). you can check the oil pan to be sure.
