Question about 2001 BMW 325
A friend borrowed my car and left the lights on overnight, so I need to charge the battery.
I'm having trouble getting the battery cover off after removing the two obvious plastic bolts.
Also, when peeking under the battery cover, I'm having trouble seeing how I would access the charging points.
ANyone have experience with charging this battery?
If you look around the engine compartment you will see a sort of large silver nut on one of the inner wings. This is for the negative lead. Now if you search around a bit more you will find a sort of square black cover with an arrow type electrical sign. Lift the top off the cover and you will see a similar type nut. This is the positive. i.e. you do not need to access the battery tocharge or jump start the car.
