Question about 1994 Ford Escort
The blower motor that blows the ac and heat went down yesterday randomly I dont know where the fuse is and what the problem could be if that isnt it. Just need ideas to try. Thanks
The resistor to the blower motor is right beside it. you might want to check it pout it will cost most at $15

While it could be the fan motor itself (they are a brush-type which may have worn brushes), but it is more likely that it is an intermittant open caused by a jack and plug no longer contacting right, a crusty fuse blade or jack or corroded contacts at the resistor that controls the blower speed.
Locating these is best done with a service manual in hand such as those published by Chilton or Haynes.
