Question about 1999 Chrysler Concorde

1999 Concorde - why am I going thru so much oil

I am pretty good about changing my oil but I am constantly putting oil in my car between oil changes. I even use a dealership to have my oil changed instead of going to a shop. I have to check my oil level every time I fill my gas tank just to be on the safe side. I have changed plugs, throttle body assembly and all 6 intake gaskets and I am still leaking oil. Have also change the power steering pump and in-line fuse because my interior lights kept blinking on and off. I love my car but all the problems and when they completed the last repairs they told me the engine is noted for being bad. Told me this is something I should take up with you because of all the money involved and I still have my engine light come on and off at no particular time. I even had to have all my seal around the doors re-glued. My seals around my headlights are next because they are falling out as well.

SOURCE: I have a 2001 Grandam. My gear button kept

see if you can pry it out. You may be able to heat up a razor blade and go around the edges to loosen the glue just to get the button out if you can get the button out then you can scrape out the rest

Changed battery on 1999 chrysler concorde and it will not charge or start

It would have to be running for the alternator to charge the battery.
Did you check all of the fuses and the connections on the alternator with a meter ?

I had my oil changed last Saturday and the car didn't have oil in tuesday u put 2 quarts in and saturday no oil what's going on?

Hi, obviously you have a major oil leak, if it was'nt leaking before the oil change, I would say the oil pan bolt wasnt tightened right or they stripped it out, or the oil filter isnt tight or they left old gasket/o-ring on the oil filter mount causing the leak. I would take it back to where you got the oil changed and demand they fix the issue (free of course)....Mike

What happened if the oil light was on and i didnt change the oiol then all of sudden the car just lost power and it wasnt the battery

oil light indicates low oil pressure. Must change oil or add oil with the right viscosity, and it would be nice to change the filter at the same time.

How do i change the starter on my 1999 chrysler concorde?

You better provide more info about engine. If its your first time , i suggest you go somewhere to get it changed so you don't get any short on the battery. You have to lift the car high enough to go under it an have enough room to operate. Be SHURE TO DISCONNECT THE BATTERY!!!FIRST!!! Follow positive cable from battery and you will end to the starter. Unbolt the cables from the starter and clean the contacts. Then remove the starter and install the new or rebuild one and reverse procedures.
Good luck

I change fuses, radio still not working, does the car have to be on to change fuses?

There are 2 (or 3) fuses for your radio.

One on the Constant (memory retention) and one for the ignition (on and off with key)

Fuse 18 (20A) (if equipped) is for the factory amplifier
Fuse 19 (10A) Constant power Fuse
Fuse 4 (10A) Ignition Fuse

It sounds like a head gasket problem. You need to take it somewhere to let a competent mechanic check it out. Don't put it off too long...Good luck
