98 Dodge Durango parking lights don't work!

Both of my parking lights have recently gone out. I replaced both bulbs today, though the old bulbs looked fine when I pulled them out. All three of the bulbs in the case work. the brake light, turn signal and reverse lights all work, but the parking light doesn't. the fuse is intact. can anybody help?

I have the same problem and I am suspecting a brake switch issue at this point (about a $15 part). However, installing this part seems to be a one time shot as the part indicates "do not re-install" so once you take out the old part there is no going back. I am trying to find a diagram before installing.

Sounds like you could have a loose connection somewhere in the wiring at the parking lights.. check the blub housing to make sure all the tabs to hold the bulb are there,,, wiggle the wires a little and see if they are broken loose... also check the grounds... see if any are loose or broken..

Usually sway bar bushings will do that. (it's a large metal "U" shaped
bar that goes across under the front and sometimes the rear of the vehicle).
The bushings are in the mounting brackets that attach to the frame of the vehicles
. It could also be a shock absorber.

Have someone push down and listen closely as these items are
a fair distance apart. Make sure the transmission is in "Park" before checking.
Hope this helps.

I have a 98 dodge durango back up lights and heater don't work

Check the plug it self on the back up light, when you take out the bulb there are two copper "prongs" that stick up to make contact to the bulb to make them light up. Make sure those "prongs" are making contact with the bulb.

I had the same problem in another vehicle. It turned out that the problem was the switch. Lights and turn signals were all in same unit, and the whole needed replaced to fix the one.
