Question about 2002 Honda Civic
On the console between the front seats is the gear selector. This is an automatic. The shift indicator light is not working. I'd like to replace it myself if possible. Does anybody know how to access it and what type of bulb it takes? Thanks
First you need to pull off the dashboard (plastic around it). This is held on by tabs and bolts underneath. Take this off and then you should have access to the bolts holding the speedometer assembly. Take these out. Then you should be able to pull the assembly out and have access on the back side to open it up and gain access to the light. I don't know which bulb it takes for sure but your dealer or an auto parts store will have a replacement.
If you have any questions of what I posted please let me know and I will answer them as soon as I can
