Remove the inner hatch panels, remove the blade arm. the motor is held by three nuts and one electrical plug. the arm post also has a nut. once all thats out the motor drops right out but theres going to be a hole, about 3/4". will need body work to fill but not to hard.

Wiper motors have a circuit which keeps power to the motor until it returns wiper arm to proper rest position even after the switch is turned OFF. Sounds like that circuit has gone bad, replacing entire unit in order.
Try to run the motor without the wiper arms tightened down and turn it off so it can cycle down to its rest state. Then install the wiper arms.
Make sure, that the car's windshield wiper wiring is correct for this motor.

Remove the clip holding the outside end of the wiper arm cover to the arm.
Lift the arm cap up to expose the nut.
Remove the wiper arm mounting nut.
Using a suitable two jaw puller, remove the wiper arm from the wiper pivot.
Verify that the wiper motor and linkage are in the parked position.
Place the wiper arm in position over the wiper pivot.
Install the nut to hold the wiper arm to the wiper pivot. Torque nut to 26 ft. lbs. (35 Nm).
CAUTION Make sure to tighten the wiper arm nut properly.
Push the arm cap cover down.
Secure the clip holding the cover to the wiper arm.
Remove the rear hood seal. Remove the wiper arm assemblies by
raising the wiper blade off the windshield. Move the slide latch away
from the pivot shaft and slowly lower the arm onto the latch. This
unlocks the arm from the pivot shaft and holds the blade off the glass.
Pull the arm from the pivot shaft.
Remove the cowl vent screws and disconnect the washer hoses from the washer jets.
Detach the electrical connectors from the wiper motor.
Remove the wiper assembly attaching screws, lift the assembly out and disconnect the washer hose.
Unsnap and remove the linkage cover.
Remove the wiper module assembly retaining bolts and remove the module from the vehicle.
Remove the linkage retaining clip from the motor operating arm by
lifting the locking tab and pulling the clip away from the pin.
Remove the motor retaining screws and remove the motor from the vehicle.
The installation is the reverse of the removal.

there is a coupling that connects the wipers to the transmission on the wiper motor it is usually bad if you can hear the motor work the part is located under the cowl vents near the rear of hood you will have to remove the plastic vents to access the coupling
A new wiper motor assembly comes with the linkage arm installed.

Remove the 3 bolts and the wiper motor.

Install wiper motor and bolts.
Tighten wiper motor bolts to 10 ft. lbs. (13 Nm).
Install windshield wiper mounting arm and pivot shaft.
Check wiper operation.
Rear Wiper Motor - Removal & Installation
Remove the rear pivot arm.
Remove the rear wiper motor shaft nut cover
Remove the rear wiper motor shaft nut.
Open the lift gate window.
Remove the rear wiper motor cover trim panel.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the 2 rear window wiper motor nuts
Remove the rear window wiper motor.

Install rear wiper motor and tighten mounting nuts to 62 inch lbs. (7 Nm).
Reconnect the electrical connector.
Install wiper motor cover trim panel.
Install rear wiper pivot arm tighten nut to 53 inch lbs. (6 Nm).
Remove the arms,and place them back on where they need to go,do not turn the wipers on,do this as they set now.If the wiper blades when turned on go off the left side of the windshield ,then you will have to remove everything again,and move the wipers down in the rest position,and align everything up to the rest position,with the wipers at rest,and the motor at rest.
