Cannot find a themo senser on the aircon cooler?

I serviced my a/c changed the filter and re gased the system, but the compressure dosen't switch of once the cabin temperature drops down to 7 c*.
On every a/c system once the temp drops to the set level the compressure clutch releases and switches back on when the temp starts to rise in the cabin,

I serched high and low for a temperature senser on the a/c system but coulden't find one,

Can any body tell me where is the senser located and where is the controll box located ( A/C controll box )

Thank you.

What could be causing loud grinding noise when i switch on aircon? Aircon now not working but only makes loud sound.

Sounds like the bearing or part of the clutch in the A/C compressor has failed, or possibly component on a/c fouling on something due to recent repairs however would be unlikely and probably just a coincidence..

Check A/C compressor turns by hand, should be firm but not make any noises.

Check for fouling components related to a/c compressor clutch.

Change cabin filter

Open the glove box

Remove all of the contents in the glove box

On the right side, dis-engage the rod going to the split plastic pin on the glove box door

Squeeze both other sides of the glove box to defeat the stops that keeps the glove box from falling open

Observe the box in the area vacated by letting the glove box drop down, this is the heater box

Locate a rectangular cover (approx 7 " x 2"), it is located on the face of the box; facing you.

Pull this cover out towards you, the cabin air filter is located in the tray that is connected to this rectangular cover.

How do I change the air filter in a 2005 x-trail nissan

Your owners manual tells you that & shows a picture,
as does the internet sites

I would guess if it is like my frontier, you drop the glove
box & replace it behind there

Squeeze the two back corners & let the glove box door drop
down, then go after the cabin filter

Replace cabin filter

The cabin filter is located behind the glove box. Open the glove box and disconnect the retaining rod on the right side, then squeeze the sides of the glove box in order to make it drop down. Behind it you will see the filter cover, just undo the clips holding it in. You will see the filter once the cover is off. Reverse for installation.
