Dash board light by the gas gadge out on the 2001 Sienna
Is the light bulb burn out or the fuse in the fuse box? Where can I find the fuse that control the light on the gas gadge? The light on the speedometer is still ok. How do I fix this problem? I can't see how much gas I have when I drive at night. Thanks

Sounds like you blew a fuse there ar 2 fuse boxes on this car look under hood and dash test all fuses you will be lucky if you didnt burn anything else up always unhook your neg ground in the future when working on electrical replacement parts
Bulbs maybe burned out or a wire for the dash has broken or a bad solder joint on the circuit board make sure you use a continuity tester on the fuses sometimes they still look good but are bad check all the fuse holders for the instrument cluster a loose fuse or bad corroded wire Wil knock them out also follow the wires to the connections from the fuse box the contacts can be corroded
Well you did not specify you were having vehicle issues. Yes the bulbs do burn out, easy to change. Yes dishonest people remove bulbs or disconnect to sell a vehicle or what ever sneaky reason. After unscrewing all needed to remove plastic cover you are able to pull out the dash console. Be careful when doing so because if it is digital then you can accidentally unhook the speedometer line,, I did that once,,LOL Anyways, there are connectors on the back and each connector will have a co existing bulb right around it. Pull the bulbs out one by one and see if it looks burned, you can tell between a good one and bad one. Also you can see if any of the connectors were unhooked. There should be a fuse for the dash lights as well. Check that.
Remember just because a fuse looks good it does not mean your not having fuse box issues. I have seen good fuses but the connecting wires behind fuse box were having electrical problems. I have seen where people had to by pass certain parts of the fuse box-tying in to other wires to allow power to something else. There are many thoughts on your question.
For most important thought is, are you having vehicle problems to even ask this question? Or are you just curious?
I have a 2001 convertible mustang and my dash light were my gas gauge is and my speedometer are that light is out and I was wondering how I go about replacing it? Is it a fuse or a bulb? And I need to replace the fuse for the convertible top.... So if anyone knows which fuses these are I would greatly appreciate your help.. Thank You.
I GUESS YOU MEAN THE PARK LIGHTS ARE OUT.... DOES THE DASH STILL LIGHT UP...CHECK THE FUSE BOX OR WHAT THEY CALL POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX UNDER HOOD....WITH TEST LIGHT CHECK ALL FUSES TO CONFIRM GOOD.......ALSO HAS THE BEEN ANY RADIO EQUIPMENT INSTALLED LATELY... I FIND THAT SOME POOR INSTALLATIONS CAUSES FUSE BLOWING LET ME KNOW
Your dash needs to come out. These bulbs push into a plastic piece that "twists" into the back of the dash board. (About a 1/4 turn) Unless you can get at them from underneath, but I think it's to tight.
i have a 2001 sienna xle,,, the power locks fuse box is under the dash to the left of the seering wheel behind the change holder..... changing the fuse should reactive the locks....also u have three fuse boxes under the hood..good luck
