1996 blazer wont start after I replace a few a/c parts

I removed and replace the a/c compressor, accumulator, and evaperator in my 1996 Blazer. When I hooked the battery back up the hazards flashed for a few minutes and then stoped. Then when I opened the door to start the vehichle the hazards flashed again. I tried to start the vehicle and it just click and all electric to the vehicle was gone.

I tried to unhook the battery and then rehook up and same thing happened. I am at a loss. Any suggestions???

Thank you for your help, however the solution ended up being to unhook the negative terminal from the battery and then turn the key to the on position. Then rehook the negative terminal to the battery. I dont know exactly why this worked but it did. My guess would be it reset some type of security device.

Your vehicle must have an alarm of some type. I am glad that worked.

I have a 1996 blazer i heared a back fire and it stop, and it wont start it turn over but wont start it trys.. please help

check the distributor cap it may be bad. check inside of dist. for other bad parts. its a timing issue! so check the dist. etc, GOOD-DAY ! if the check engine light is on, get it scanned to see what the problem code is! check dist. first ! ( could be a bad crank sensor ) for this controls the timing.

1996 blazer just got brand new battery, but has moments where it wont start, it will click and all the lights come on, but it wont even attempt to turn over and then a few more turns of the ignition, and...

The "clicking" is probably from the starter selinoid. If it's malfunctioning you'll get that clicking and nothing else. Follow cable back from starter to locate selinoid.

1996 chevy blazer a/c wont blow cold air

you need about two or three mor little cans of freon. If you dont have enough in the system the compressor clutch will not engage( turn ) of course you know this is the street version, not professional.but it will do.

My 1996 chevy blazer a/c compressor doesn't engage

check fuse then relay, if both ok disconnect snap in wiring harness at the top of the accumulator tank and use a jumper wire . plug it into the end of wire harness turn a/c on to max if pump kicks on ,then its not the pump but switch that is screwed into the accumulator tank. ran into the same problem with my 97 blazer definetly a cheaper fix than pump also make sure a/c is discharger first before removing switch a/c is a pressurized system so you dont get hurt or worse frostbite

My 1996 blazer wont start

Time to replace the fuel filter. It's not a hard job actually. And it's a VERY common thing to go wrong. I'd change the fuel filter and then run some fuel treatment through the tank afterwards. Believe it or not, I've noticed that a nice bottle of fuel treatment really conditions a fuel filter well.

Hope this helps you out.
