The shock sensor needs to be adjusted. Its too sensitive. There is small box mounted next to the alarm(brain/box) it has a small flat head screw on it, turn clockwise to increase sensitivity and counter clockwise to decrease. Good Luck

Horn keeps going off rather often. It has been parked for several weeks and nothing near it.

You likely have a motion sensitivity issue with the alarm. If the alarm is OEM you will have to take it to Ford.

What is the tdc? I have no idea where it is located!

what is tdc,
tdc is or means TOP DEAD CENTER, on engine timing terms.
about the alarm, European models cars may be set different than American cars. but if the are the same and this es a original alarm from the actuary, i suspect that is very little you can do, it is posible that you park somewhere were the terrain trembles, like a train near by, or the vehicle is exposed to high winds and shakes, or parking to close to other cars or cars that constantly moving, or near the highway were trucks go by, sacking and moving will make the alarm go off.

Car alarm keeps going off for no reason. What do I do?

I would first check the hood switch. They are plastic and tend to break or come loose. It is located near one of the cabin filter housings, I can not remember which one. It has a small rod that sticks up about 1/2 inch and has a two pin connector. Just disconnect it. Good luck.

Alarm keeps going off and I want to disable it, but I can't find the fuse.

Most alarms are connected to a power source under the hood (battery) Check for a single line connected to + terminal. It should have fuse in that line. Also check fuse pannel near battery marked alarm.

Alarm keeps going off. what is the problem which fuse can i remove?

it is most likely going off because the sensor that sets the alarm off when someone bangs it or breaks the window is set to sensitive. Locate the adjustment under the hood near the firewall usually on the alarm module and turn it down.

Alarm problem

The simplest cause of something of this nature is the remote battery is near dead. It can erroneously send the panic alarm signal instead of the arm/disarm or trunk access signal. If changing the battery on the remote does not solve your issue you will most likely need to have the dealer diagnose the alarm control unit.

2002 5 series alarm keeps going off

If the red light stays on when you lock the vehicle, this means there is an electrical issue with the system. Might need further dealership diagnosis.

Although the most common cause of the frequent false alarms is the hood contact switch, located in the left rear of the engine compartment, near the micro filter housing. About a 20$ part.

98 a6 alarm system keeps going off in middle of night, i have disconnected horn in boot for system but lights are still flashing. what is the easiesrt way to disconnect them from the alarm system

There will be water in the door microswitches, for the central locking.

This caused the alarms to activate when locked.

remove door panels on both front doors, you will see a little electrical switch near the door lock. remove and check for water ingress.
