Check coolant level in the recovery tank, if full probably a bad level sensor. Part of the tank.

Hi sounds like the water got in before the new radiator was installed. You must purchase a after market transmission cooler if you shut off the line.

Were is the thermostat to a 2001 ford escape

Look for "upper" radiator hose about 2" hose, follow back from radiator to engine block. The outlet from the engine which feeds into the Radiator hose contains the Thermostat (for the Engine) underneath it. But are you sure you need to change it?

Have you checked the thermo fans are cutting in and out. It may be the switch at the botom of the radiator or someone may have left the wire to the fan disconected probably when replaceing the radiator. or the A/C condensor might be blocked with grass stopping the air flow.

I have a ford escape jeep 2001 model.and its overheating do I remove the thermostart ?I am using it in africa it was sent to me from america.

If it has coolant in the radiator , then it has to be the thermostat or a clogged radiator. Probably thermostat.
