Could very well be the water pump. they dont always leak if they are bad. sometimes the impeller that moves the water through the system fails.

Have someone do a Block test of the cooling system to determine if you have a headgasket problem seems likely that that is your problem, or pull the plugs connect a cooling system pressure tester and pump ot up to 20 psi or more and leave it there if it drops pump it up again, leave it there for an hour or so and keep looking into the cylinders for evidence of coolant if you see any you have a head gasket problem.

My have a blown head gasket on my 2000 Honda Accord V6. What could have led to this problem?

most common causes of blown head gaskets are engine overheating. could be caused radiator cooling fans inoperative, cooling system leaks, clogged radiator passages,or sticking thermostat. if a head gasket is severely blown the cooling system will pressurize very rapidly on cold engine startup. other more rare cases of head gaskets blowing could be loose head bolts. make sure new head bolts are used and torqued correctly if service manuals recommend new head bolts.

I'm having problems with my 2000 honda. It keeps

A few questions first...are you sure its overheating and not just a bad temp sensor? is yes then how many miles on car? if over 90K than did you have the water pump replaced with your timing belt?Is your fan coming on at all? Is your radiator full?If your water pump has been changed and your radiator is full and your fan is working properly and you have a new thermostat then you should take your radiator off and have it flow tested to make sure its operating properly, and no you cant just pour water through it to tell if its working properly.

My 98 honda civic is overheating. The antifreeze resovoir is full, but when I open the radiator cap, there is none in there. I poured antifreeze in the radiator only to start overheating again within...

if your loosing coolant and its not dripping on the floor then the only option is you have a blown head gasket. This can be tested using what is called a chemical block test or a smog machine can sniff your coolant for fuel that isbeing pushed past the bad head gasket. This is a $2000 dollar job if the gasket is bad.
