Question about 2005 Dodge Caravan
This is the second time I have them replaced at dealers. I have 42 000km. Replaced one at 28 000km and second at 40 000km. All under warranty. My concern is when I get over 60 000km, warranty will be over. And how much it will cost to get them replaced? Where are the bushing of sway bar located? I am sure they will wear out and break again in the future. Does anyone have the same problem with their van? The symptom is you hear a noise when go over a bump on front suspension like something is loose. Thank you. I have this same problem. I have replace them once at 42000 miles after having a tire replaced. I am about to replace them for a second time at 70000 miles. We just had the brakes serviced and bought all new tires. Both times the bushings have gone out. It has been following some kind of service work that involves the van being on a rack and the wheels not being supported. The temperature has not been a factor, the first time it happened it was in the middle of the summer and this time the middle of the winter.
If the rubber bushiing is too soft for the van then try locating a set of polyurethane bushings if/when they need replacing again. try this link for info http://www.prothane.com/index.php
