It just shut down while driving . Now it won't start . Sometimes when the key is turned to start it clicks once,& sometimes it does a mutiple fast clicking noise . I took the starter off & had it checked . Then checked & replaced the battery . We also checked the fuses & relays . I still have the same problem .

Well there are a lot of components which may causing it but if you really wanna do it by your self all you need to do is to check the pressure,compression,voltage...check the fuel pressure if you have enough check your owners manual for specs then after checking and its in pretty good condition proceed to the next step compression means your checking the compression on each cylinder check manual for specs then if still good condition check for voltage you need to check the primary first then secondary but doing this things you need a couple of understanding all the steps and proper way to do it wear safety protection for your self..

I have a 99 Ford Superduty 7.3 Diesel. It is making a really bad grinding/screeching sound just after it starts and is warming up. It wouldn't ******* off all the way even after the key was turned

indicates that the starter motor is stuck in the ring gear
possibly faulty starter relay or starter solenoid
pull the starter as the pinion over ride clutch is probably damaged ( noise ) and have the start circuit and relay checked
have the starter bench tested for serviceability by an accredited auto electrician

My 2001 sunfire starts fine.but after i drive for about half hour it will stall and wnt start again for half hour.the oil light stays on when this happens.wassup with this?

This happened with my Sunfire. It was the radiator. The engine wasn't cooling, but the sensor wasn't showing that it was overheating. So the engine would start when it was cool, but as soon as it got hot, then if I stopped it wouldn't start again.

My clutch works sometimes and sometimes it don't. I was driving came to a stop, tried to go it sounded like the clutch popped out of gear or something broke. My car wouldn't go so I got towed. but...

A clutch that's failing doesn't behaves like that - it slowly starts slipping until it fails completely and definitely. If it would break suddenly (like when the pressure plate would snap) the noise and the vibrations it would generate would be unbearable.
No, in your case something is failing inside the transmission/gearbox - most likely in the command forks and their locking pins. The gearbox will have to taken off the car and dismantled to investigate and fix that, and it will be expensive.
