SOURCE: Heater on driver-side blows barely warm air other vents blow cold
the most probabale cause of this would be a disfunctional hear core if you replace your heater your heater will more than likley work the the way it's supposed to
SOURCE: air conditioner blows hot air,
As long as the belt is turning the compressor than the only other thing would be that the refrigerant (R-134) is not full. You can buy re-charging kits at any local auto parts store, although they recommend that you have a licensed dealer remove the old refrigerant so it dosn't go into the atmosphere. Good luck.
SOURCE: Air not blowing out of the vents of my 2003 Dodge Durango
From what I hear it is a vacuum line issue. Mine is doing the exact same thing. So, I am going to get a diagram and try checking the vacuum lines to see if any are loose or tore
I go under the dash and feel the air flowing out the floor and it is coming out of the defrost, also. I noticed under the drivers side today that air is flowing and there seems to be a gap in between a part under there. There was some material stuff I saw around the edge of it that sticky brown stuff and it sometimes before came out my vents all the time. Anyways, not sure if my air is just not sealed good to blow out the vents but it is something that happened not long ago and we've not done anything under our dash area.

OK, this is a big challenge but we can give it a shot, here's the good news you can get to the actuator's with the housing in the vehicle. If it has pass and driver temp controls on the control head then it will have 2 actuator's one is on the lower part of the housing and it is the one nearest to the firewall next to the steering column, the other one is in a straight line just above the other. They are very hard to get to but it can be done. Remove both actuator's using pliers or a small pair of vise crips try to turn the rods sticking out were the motor was attached if either rod continues to turn the box will need to be removed to replace the heater box as an assembly. If both rods turn to the stops in both direction and you can't turn it any farther, then all you need is both motors and install them. Then I will tell you how to run a calibration on the system and you should be good to go. Happy Easter Allen
