Question about 2004 Chevrolet Aveo

Chevy Aveo - Lousy Fuel Milage, From 33+hwy to 19mpg

The 2004 Daewoo/Chevy Aveo Starts easy, runs fine, but for some reason there was a loss of power, rough idle and poor milage, but no real smell of gas.
The plugs were gapped and replaced, STP Injection cleaner was added and the car ran normal.... for a few days... More STP did seem to bring up the milage again, but this a band aid.

Any other ideas?

Thanks

Try giving your car a simple service, change oil, oil filter, air filter, plugs and leads etc. also get your wheels aligned and balanced as having bad geo can also be bad for fuel consumption. if that doesnt work then id recomend a garage.

Are there a lot of problems with chevy 2006 Aveo

Well, Gm couldn't sell any more geo metros so they renamed it the chevy metro. That didn't work too well so they renamed it the chevy aveo. Modern equivalent of the chevette. Research the Daewoo lanos, it is the same car under the skin.

My 2004 Grand Cherokee is displaying the P0121 engine code, TPS, would this cause it not to shift into O/D. When I was driving on the hwy, it won't shift into O/D.

Yes.
The TPS is thottle position sensor. This is a key data source for the Engine Control Unit adjusting the fuel injection and the ignition.
Failed sensors will put the system into a "limp home" mode. It runs, but all of the fine control used to make maximum power and maximum gas milage is turned off. You should get this fixed.

I have a 2007 GMC 1500 5.3 V8. Once I got 45,000

ever tuned it up? sounds like its due. plugs, wires, fuel filter (if equipped), PCV, and an intake system cleaning should restore your fuel economy to where you want it.
