Question about 1990 Jaguar XJ6
Gday. My xj6 1982 model Jaguar has a terrible knocking sound coming from underneath as I approach 60 kmh or am going up hill, and tends to continue to shudder mildly at 60kmh,above and below that speed it eases off.Can you please advise? thankyou
It could be as bunnydawg suggested but thiers quite a few other things that could cause that sound. You need to be a little more specific as any of the rotating parts, drive shaft etc, could be the cause of the noise. If not the engine making that noise which is odd as it only gets noisy at specific times,60 and up Check drive shaft uni joints, tyres and harmonic balancer also make sure none of the front pulleys arnt loose.Good luck
