The batery is located in the right side finder. You have to pull the wheel and you will see the cover for it toward the front of the car behind the head lite. its not fun. Good luck

When looking at the FRONT of the car from the OUTSIDE
the battery is in the FRONT LEFT corner of the car IE passanger side front.

I recently replaced mine: Easiest solution

jack car @ front pasangerside jack point

turn wheel to steer full left (counterclockwise rotation of steering wheel)

REMOVE AIR INTAKE FILTER HOUSING

remove strap across top of battery

disconect and secure battery leads

remove battery verticly if possible (wasnt possible for me)
SO remove 6 screws from inside of pasanger side wheel well
that afix spash gaurd pannel (has horizontal slots cut in it)

Slide batery out into wheel well (if you can remove wheel makes it easier)

slide new battery in, reverse processs

hope this helps

Cant find the drain plug on the oil pan for my 1999 chrysler concorde lxi

The oil drain plug is located on the side of the oil pan, passenger side. It does not look like a typical drain plug, as it's one of those quick drain type. It is meant to be hand loosened and tightened. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN or you are in for a world of hurt. Just firmly finger tight

My 1999 chrysler concorde LXI is completely dead, no lights, sounds, or power, it was JUST running perfectly normal, now it isn't. Could it be something to do with my battery cables?

First have the Battery Tested at a reputable Auto store. Auto Zone or Checkers. They should do this FOC and advise.
The instance of total battery failure after apparently functioning properly, in adverse Heat or Cold, is quite common.
But just in case!!!! Check the security of the Battery Terminal Cables.
1. A Tight + Direct power connection to the Starter Motor. and TO and FROM the Central Power Distribution Box, depending on how the supply is routed from the Battery.
2. Ditto the - Negative connection to the vehicle Body.

I have a 1999 concorde lxi and the battery like keeps coming on. Sometimes it starts sometimes it doesn't. The battery seems to have a lot of juice in the battery could be alternator even it still starts?

By the description of your problem it seems you have a defective voltage regulator.

Take your car to an AutoZone to have the alternator tested. There is no charge for this diagnostic.

Good Luck

1999 CONCORDE: check the battery terminals probably they are not tight enough...something like that happened to me just the lights turned on and the car seemed to be dead, the battery is still ok since then. I just needed to buy new terminals.
