Question about 1992 Buick Park Avenue
Car starts fine, runs great but constantly has the "engine needs checked" light on continuously. But when the little light goes out...the car dies. This goes on about 4-10 times down the road and then the rest of the day it seems fine again. Didn't know if it needed a fuel filter/ pump? or maybe the Crank sensor I keep hearing about?
Where is the crank sensor? Is it difficult to change?
Would appreciate any and all answers you can help with!
Merry Christmas! Patty.
The crank sensor is located on the side of crankshaft damper/pulley it mounted on a bracket. However it think that you may have a map-sensor problem that's very common with this vehicle. The crank sensor is not hard to change at all. Good Luck get back in contact if you need more help
