All fault lights on

I went to get an oil change and my control arms needed to be changed. The repair shop fixed everything but now my suspension is low, nothing on the steering wheel works and all of the fault lights are on. They tried taking out the battery to reset it but I know there is more to the problem but what?

This is not a problem you should try to solve. The workshop obviously stuffed up and it is their job to fix it, even if they have to end the vehicle elsewhere to get it right, Do NOT be nice about it!

My guess is that the ECU needs to be reset and only an experienced Land Rover shop will have the gear and experience to do it correctly

SOURCE: change battery everything gone dead will not take land rover disc

Firstly, pop a new battery in the fob.
Now we can enter the EKA.
Close all the doors.
Turn the key in the driver door lock to the unlock position and hold there for at least 5 seconds until the alarm sounds once. Then return to centre - always ensure you return to centre and do not delay more than 10 seconds between turns, or hold in the position for more than 5 seconds or you will reset to the start. Turn to full extent of travel.
1st Digit turn to unlock the number of times specified.
2nd Digit turn to lock the number of times specified.
3rd Digit turn to unlock the number of times specified.
4th Digit turn to lock the number of times specified.
Finally turn to unlock once more. If it is correct a double bleep will sound (single bleep is incorrect code)
You now have a 5 minute delay - don't open any doors. The anti-theft indicator will continue flashing once every 2 seconds for the five minute period. When this goes out, open the door and start within 30secs.
After 3 failed attempts, the security system invokes a delay period of 10 mins during which the system will not accept any further attempts to enter a code.

Call tire and muffler shop (or any shop that replaces suspensions work) it's probably a reset somewhere.

Rebuilt front suspension. Now camber is WAY out. Everything looks right except shocks don't fit. Considering extra long camber adjustment bolts. Any advice appreciated

do not consider any long camber bolts as that is not fixing the fault for camber to be so far one of the control arms has been fitted incorrectly or in the wrong place
is the upper control arm on the right side of the mount on the chassis
is the lower control arm on the top
The car is manufactured correctly so check for collision damage that is placing the control arm positions so far out
best is to buy a workshop manual and study the set up for the suspension
rest assured that buying something to fix a fault that should not be there to start with is a futile exercise and a waste of money
for camber to be way out the wheels will be leaning way in at the top or way out at the top as that is what camber is

The front suspension needs a lot of work. There is a lot of noises coming from the front end. My understanding is that this is common for a cobalt.

brakes and rotors will not cause noise unless they are badly worn and this will be evident on inspection
most noise will be from rubber suspension bushes and sway bar and shocky rubbers
I would suggest that you get quotes from suspension accredited shops and have each shop show you what is worn and what is ok
ON good roads ( hard surface) suspension units should last 60.000 miles before requiring repairs ( barring road damage)

Why does my pathfinder sway at 60mph

you answered your own question

really can be anything suspension wise

sway bar bushings/ endlinks, all the other rubber parts under there by the control arms and what-not does degrade over time

you can live with it & just make sure the tire wears evenly

or start replacing those affected parts either one-by-one in stages or bend over with your wallet and change everything!

some tire shops auto service shops do a "free inspection" and will let you know what's worn under there ( like when you're buying a set of tires or doing an oil change... just mention to look around and list the things that are worn out)

How do I fix this. my vsc lights are also on. Could it be that the oil was changed and they messed with the air filter?

No the oil change could not cause the Vehicle Stability control warning to come on. This light is turned on when the system control module detects a fault. You now need to have the VSC scanned for fault codes by the dealer or a well equipped shop that knows Toyota problems.

I would return to the repair shop and get them to plug into the OBD and check for fault codes that correspond to suspension, chances are this could be related to previous repair. But may just need the fault codes deleting
