Open the hood and disconnect the ground wire from the siren. It's usually just a philips screw attached to a black wire right near the siren.
Do you also have an ignition kill? I'm wondering if the alarm goes off, the car might not start as well. If this is the case, you have to remove the driver side panel and locate the relay interupt. Once you find the realy you can just disconnect the black ground wire as well.

1st im sure the alarm stopped working because the power locks dont work (feedback issue) next on some models water from rain or car washes gets down inisde doors and shorts out electric devices in door , with that many things out im sure your gonna find a fuse blown in your panel , but i'll further bet that new fuse will go again next rain as well .
. most likely you need to change the remote battery.
It's responcable for many things working correctly. my daughters car locked on her and the alarm sounded and had to disconnect battery in her car to get alarm to stop. when a theft is in process the vehicle takes over and don't allow it to crank and the radio also stops working along with other things. so try battery first in remote.
Sure the door lock is bad maybe. with the fuses in and the doors clsed try the other locks some jeeps only reset with the hatch lock as all the others are worn out or don't detect tha t the door is closed
This worked with my truck, hopefully it will with the Camaro: Connect the battery cables, if you have a key fob for the alarm, press it to turn it off. Use the key to lock and unlock the door. My alarm isn't as new as yours, and was an aftermarket one, so it might not work, and you may have already tried this, but it's worth a shot if you didn't. Is it a factory installed system or aftermarket? Re-post the question if it doesn't work so someone else can help. Good luck.
When I bought my 2001 Jimmy, it did the same thing. Searched the "net" and found the solution. Open all the doors and clean the light switch buttons. Sometimes they get dirt in them. This worked for me. I've never had this problem again.
