It is either the spring on the clutch pedal gone bad, or the slave cylinder is bad

How to unstick a cluch disc

Hi Dee:
Sounds as if you have a project. I'd suggest that you approach it one step at a time.
- First, get the slave cylinder working. How do you know that it's not the master cylinder that's not getting fluid to the slave cylinder?
- Once the slave cylinder is working, when the clutch pedal is depressed, the clutch should be "released" as in there should be nothing holding it against the flywheel.
- If the clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel (this can happen if the flywheel gets rusty) there are a couple of ways to try to get it loose. One of the crudest that often works is to put the vehicle in low gear with the engine OFF. With another vehicle, preferrably a truck, and with someone holding the clutch pedal down, try to tow the one with the stuck clutch. Usually a couple of bumps will loosen it. Make sure you're trying to pull on a part that is strong and that won't be damaged.
Hope this helps.

On a 2000 Ford Focus my clutch is stuck in the pedal won't go down

The focus clutch system is hydraulic therefor, if no movement is possible at all it is most likely that there is something at the pedal causing this. Get down there with a good light and look if the pedal swivel pin did not come out or is partially out, a foreign object that got stuck in the top movement area of the pedal ect. If there is nothing found it can be the clutch master cylinder that need repair/ overhaul.

Clutch stuck down then a noise and battery died any ideas

sounds like the engine/gearbox could have seized, can you turn the engine over with a socket on the crankshaft ?take plugs out , easier without compression !, if turns then i'd be looking at the clutch/gearbox removal

Wife just said clutch been shaking when preesed down on 407 coupe and stuck down now

Does this mean the peddle is stuck to the floor or car just won't move?
Need to be clear and detailed. However, must first thought is the return spring on the clutch release yoke is broken. However if there is noise and vibration the only good solution is to tear down the bell housing ( major job got to remove tranny ). then replace ALL worn components and replace pilot bearing.

1994 toyota celica and when i step on the clutch it gets stuck

You will need to get that looked at, you probly have an problem with air transfer, Clutches use the air, or a liquid you'll have to find that out yourself, which ever one it uses. When there is an airproblem, or no clutch liquid then your clutch can get stuck, the same thing happens with brakes too. So have it checked.
