I'm having that same problem. I drove it to an exhaust shop on friday they turned it on to bring it in the shop that night. Then on monday today it won't fire up. I replaced the firing coil, cheked for power outside all the fuseable links outside the battery, and no fuses are blown. Stumped!@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanx

One more thing I forgot to add. I'm getting a constant power to the tach lead or green/yellow wire to the firing coil, but no fire from the coil.

The check Engine light is not where one Connects to retreive codes, the ALDL Assimbly Line Diagnostic Link is located in the Engine Compartment behind Battery or same place other side.
Have YOU Modified it from Factory? such as Engine & or ( Ignition-primary or secondary parts?)

1. Ignition Modual
2. Ignition Pickup coil
3 Check for 12 volts at Coil w/ key on if no Give it Key on Power there
4.Absolutly NO SPARK ? if not sure Timing way out
5. I can solve most All Problems given the time & Detailed INFO so if you want keep chheckin with me rejakwilson@aol.com

I have an 87 ford Bronco 2. I just replaced the head gasket. I got it all put together. I have the timing in the right place. I am also getting fuel. I checked the ignition and I'm getting spark. I know...

Although you have the 3 components to make it go ,you will also need the correct firing order. It is possible that the ignition timing is 180 degrees out . Right now you will have spark but at the wrong time on the wrong piston.

Replaced everything under the sun on our 87 olds delta 88...wont fire on its own but will fire and run fine as long as u shoot it with starter fluid. We replaced starter, fuel pump, filter, plugs, wires,...

Can you here the fuel pump running?no, check fuse, and pump relay. Check pump fuel pressure,at the fuel injector rail,or throttle body. Check for voltage at the top wiring on the fuel nozzel. While cranking look for pulsating voltage.None, test computer, scan system. let me know the outcome.

What is the firing order for a 1984 ford bronco 2

1-4-2-5-3-6
Now you need to know which cylinder is which. If you stand at the front of the truck looking at the engine, the number 1 cylinder is on the left closest to you. The left bank has cylinders 1-3-5 and the right bank has 2-4-6. So number 1 is at the left front and number 6 is at the right rear.
