It is a 2.0L (the delta blocks weren't in tibs until '03). You have to remove the timing belt tensioner, and then you can remove the bolts for the water pump. I would strongly recommend not only taking careful precaution not to disturb the orientation of the gears in this process, but also to replace the timing belt and water pump at the same time. You don't want to go through this process all over again do you?

maybe you should weigh your options cause probably cheaper to replace that rebuild disconect bat before you remove starter take all wires loose remembering where they go dont mix up and remove 2 or 3 bolts that hold the starter in place then remove and replace in reverse order

I thought I removed all of the bolts - a total of three (3) - but there are actually four (4), including one (1) inside, next to the radiator. It is difficult to see, and a pain to remove, but once out, the assembly can be easily removed.

HI:
Stop!!! The "round plate" that the wheel studs are mounted to is your hub assembly. To replace a broken stud, you simply need to use a hammer and a drift pin punch, and pound it backwards. You replace it in similar fashion: insert the new wheel stud in from the back side of the hub, and use the wheel lug nut to draw the new stud into the hub assembly.
Place an oil drain container under the oil pan. Loosen the drain fitting with a wrench until oil drains from the pan. When oil is done draining, tighten the drain fitting.
Place an jack under the transmission to support it. Remove the pressure on the transmission crossmember.
Place the new gasket on the pan and push the new oil pan into place. Finger tighten the oil pan mounting bolts to hold it in place. Tighten the bolts with a torque wrench to 18 ft-lbs. DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN THE BOLTS! Doing so will cause the gasket to deform and create leaks!
Attach the oxygen sensor socket to the exhaust pipe with a wrench.
