You can also find the serial number of your radio on a sticker inside the glove box.

You’ll have to get the audio system serial number and take it to a Honda dealer. They should be able to get that information for you. Since your local Honda dealer is being such jerks, you can go through Customer Service at American Honda Motor Co. They provide a service (at to help retrieve Radio and Navigation codes (for free). Your phone number and ZIP code must match those on their file, so be sure to get that information updated before you start the retrieval process.

Hey that is suppose to be a free service, Make sure it is not in your glove box somewhere first. Then call a different dealership and ask to speak to the parts manager. I'd let them know that you expect them to help. If you do not get satisfaction go over his head.

One problem, I have to have the actual serial off the side of your radio. This involves removing the radio from the dash, if you can get me the serial, I'll send you the code

I need the code for the original stereo honda 1995

I bought a 95 accord lx with the same radio and it was so hard to get the code. Finally, I just got myself another raido with usb and SD card capacity and this is a lot better than the old radio. I took the connector from the old radio (two hours work) and use the connector to connect my new radio to the speakers.

I bought a second hand honda accord 2002, with chases number: IHGCG66812A106898. but the radio locked after changing battery, it's showing CODE.

Check for a sticker with the radio code inside the glove box. Some dealers fixed a second sticker in the owners manual. If not available, get the code from a Honda dealer, and be prepared to show VIN number, and proof of vehicle ownership.

Radio won't come on in used car- asking for code....

What is the model/manufacturer of the car's radio? Is it a factory original (HONDA)?

Radio code

Clean out your glove box.

Use a flashlight and look for a 5 digits sticker one the left side of the glove box (CLOSER to the radio) or under the truck.

Enter the code with KEY ON (not starting engine) position.

Write this number down on the owner's manual for future reference.

95 honda accord radio code

Remover the radio from the dash and get the serial number from the back of it. Take that number and your VIN to a Honda dealer and they should be able to get you the security code. They will likely ask for your registration and driver's license to prove you own the vehicle.
