1999 saab 9-5 while driving it is jerking, at times it does not start without a jump

If the battery cable are not corroded, replace the battery. The battery is a very important component of an electrical system. Any check engine lights? 99 models often have a hole burned into the turbo hose on the right side of the car.

My 99 saab 9-3 led screen is not readable anymore where can igo to have this repaired. also my led screen keepssaying that i need to tighten my gas cap, i bought a new cap, but the problem didn't go away,...

As for the LED screen, there is a way to fix this. The problem is the ribbon that connects the screen to the main board. It's glued on. After time the plastic in the ribbon shrinks causing it to ripple up, losing contact in spots.

open the cup holder, and reach in underneath and pull on the LED unit. You can pull it out by hand at this point. Unplug it.

take a torx bit and remove the black plastic cover around the unit.

locate the white ribbon and carefully press down at each connection point with a bic ballpoint pen.

then take some adhesive weather stripping (3/8" wide) and build up 3 layers of this ontop of the ribbon.

When you renstall the black cover, you will have to squeeze the stripping the down and work the cover over it. It should be a tight fit.

The stripping will expand against the black cover and keep the ribbon pressed against the board.

Use the black stuff that squeezes and slowly 'puffs' back up.

As for the fuel cap, you have a leak somewhere in the venting system. Try looking at the hoses attached to the charcoal canister inder the hood. All the fumes from the system vent thru that, and the pressure is also sensed from that canister.

Is your SAAB automatic? If so, it is most likely the Neutral Safety Switch. I have had the same problem, it is very common in automatic Saab 9-3 models made in 1999-2002.

Saab convertible hood keeps jamming when taking down and putting

Could be 2 things...
THe nipple on the hood can be adjusted higher and lower to make a looser or tighter fit...
or the release cable can be tighted but a small clamp on the radiator core support check those 2 things first...

Windows will not stay up, they need reseting ?

Sounds like you may have broken so-called window glide rollers (aka window regulator bushings) which are the green plastic and metal clips that secure the window glass to the scissors lifts. Each window has two.
