Could be alot of things. Biggest one, are you plugging in a block heater? How many miles on vehicle, if there are alot then it is probably ok. however if it is under 30K then you should get it looked at.

My automatic Mazda 6 5 speed has a knock when switching from 3rd to 4, seems to do it when transmission is hot knocks harder when rpms are high 1st and second switch fine

Double-check, your automatic transmission fluid level as described in your owner's manual. Otherwise, there may be a "screen" inside the transmission pan that is clogged up. Have you serviced your transmission as recommended by Owner's manual?
There may also be a transmission computer that is not receiving sensor information properly. Salt and corrosion does strange things to connections and information to the computers.

Car ran fine in the morning parked car and about 4 hours later i went to start and it started but there was a terible knocking and was running ruff, i tried to drive and about two blocks it stop and hasn't...

Does the engine still crank over at normal starting speed? If not, put a socket and wrench on the crankshaft pulley bolt and check that engine still turns freely. If the engine is seized, you know what that means-the terrible knocking was a main or rod bearing being bad, and seized up on the crankshaft. You would need a new engine.

If the crankshaft still turns free, be very prudent about putting money into it until you have determined the cause of the knocking. That doesn't sound good, could still be a bad crankshaft bearing.

On cold starts, engine knocks for about 1-2 min then runs fine. When i took it in for service they raised my idle and when i start it in cold weather the idle speeds up kinda high for 1-2 min. Car runs...

my 1990 mazda 323 was doing that for the past couple months every now and again, then after my car sat for about a week to get repaired for another problem, the head gasket completely blew, it knocks very rough and loud, and smoke comes out of my engine.
some advice? get rid of it, head's are not cheap fixes

Started my mazda 6 this morning. Was a little sluggish but started. Went out 10 minutes later to move it and it wont start. Only clicking noise when trying to start

battery is dead. possibly the alternator isn't charging too. once the car is running if the battery light is on the alternator needs to be changed. if that's the case stick with a mazda part not a rebuilt.

1995 Mazda MPV Noise

if it's a knocking sound it could be worn internal compnents ie. rod bearings. if it's a ticking sound the valves may need adjustment.
either way a mechanic will have to hear the sound to properly identify it.

2005 Madza 6 6cylinder starts but has no acceleration

Firs thing you can do to insure your clutch hasn't "gone" is start the car normally in gear. Obviously with your foot on the clutch. If it starts normally, your clutch is fine, if it jumps forward, it's your clutch.

Do you have any engine lights on?
