Could be the throttle valve/sensor but as its a renault with encrypted software you can only take it back to the renault garage,or put it in a field and burn it whilst giving it the agincourt salute.Try changing a sensor on a new renault and it laughs at you,you need the encrypted software to programme the new part in ... It's normal because as you disconnect each one the engine will run rough because your causing that cylinder not to fire which put stress on the others don't do this it can create other problems. hope this help

Replaced plugs and coil pack on 2001 ford taurus now car will not start

You will need to figure out if you have spark to the plugs, and if not- if you have voltage to the coil to proceed.

Car is idling rough all coil packs have been changed along with spark plugs

Dont get another harness. If you are using Autozone supplied coil packs, the problem is most likely the coils from Autozone. I have went through this exact same thing before. I changed the coild because one had a burn mark on the boot between the plug and the coil pack. I noticed it when changing spark plugs. The new coil from Autozone made the vehicle struggle on take offs and idle rough and the vehicle had no power. I installed another coil from Autozone again which was supposedly a better model and costed more. The vehicle ran a little smoother but the rough idle and small misfire was still there. I installed another coil from the dealership and the problem was fixed immediately.
I also replaced one of the coil connectors for a different cylinder but only because i broke it when disconnecting the coil packs to remove the spark plugs.
And when I installed all my coils and the new one from Autozone, I used dielectric grease on all the connectors. But the rough idle and power loss was immediate following installing the new coil from Autozone.
Beware if you are using coils from another part store because many part stores get their parts from the same source.

Car burning fuel fast and runs rough on idle...

If you haven't changed the plugs/coils in a while, change them. You may need a tune up. Plugs/coils can cause fuel loss and rough idle.

I have a 2003 Expedition 5.4L Triton. Two days ago, with low gas (38 miles to empty), engine started running rough. Code read P0302, misfire cyl. 2. Since it had 113K miles, I figured its time to change...

Most likely the coils. Easiest way to check is swap them with another cylinder, start it, pull the plug wire connecter and if it doesn't change the engine the coil is bad. If it is the injector, then you can check it with an ohm meter. Touch the leads in the injector it should read 11 to 15 ohms. if you need help let me know.

Sc400 has lost acceleration!!!!

A simple loss of power could be contributed to several different things without knowing the exact symptoms. Throttle position sensor, a slipping transmission, faulty coil pack(s) or fuel pump can all cause power loss. Is it intermittent? constant? does the car run smoothly and just experience power loss or does it run rough? The more information provided the better I may be able to help.

Idles rough ,loss of power ,sounds like its running on 2 or 3 cyl. changed fuel filter no diff. maybe a bad coil, 2003 beetle 1.8 turbo 4 cyl

I had this same problem on mt 2004 jetta. It had 85,000 miles on it. one day it bagan to idle rough but seemed fine when at higher sppeds/rpms. after a weekm I took it to the dealership and it turned out that a few of the coils/springs were shot. they also replaced my spark plugs, costing me about $550 total. But the car runs great again.
