Question about 2006 Volkswagen New Beetle
Every time we get gas, it's like the filler tube for the gas tank or the tank itself is not venting out the air being replaced by the gas. It backs up into the filler tube causing the gas pump to shut off. Gas must be pumped as slowly as possible. In a typical fill-up it will shut off the gas pump 20 - 25 times. And if you're not careful it'll overflow. Is this a known problem or recall? Should it be covered by warranty. It's a dangerous safety concern.
