Question about 1994 Isuzu Trooper
Sometimes when im driving my trooper the check trans light comes on and i lose most of my power. took it to a mechanic, said it was an electrical prob and that the transmission was fine. if you pulled over, turned the car off, then turned it back on again the light was gone. the tranny problem went away on its own for some time. all summer in fact but now that its getting colder the light comes on everytime i start her. another thing happend at the same time which led me to think it may still be electrical.. my battery started to sizzle and it is toast now. im not so good at wrenching, don't even know if these problems are related or maybe jesus just doesn't like me and my whole trooper falls apart at once. i certainly need help though, any suggestions?
Dear friend's I can tell you that your problem is not mehanic and not in the gear.the problem is in trans computer and small reley makes you a mess! The computer part units is on the left side of cabine behind the fuses box.If you know how to change the reley simply open the unit and change reley. If not you can change all comp unit. Before unconecting the comp put out + batery!
Good luck .
