When replacing headlight bulbs it's best to wear gloves as the oil from your skin can actually damage the new bulb. Spray out the headlight socket with some electrical cleaner and make sure the bulb is properly seated with no bent wires on the the bulb where it inserts into the socket.
pop hood, look behind the headlight assembly. there should be an assembly you twist and remove the bulb. there should be a curved metal "support". lift this up, remove old bulb, put in new bulb. secure "support" back to original position. put assembly back into hole and twist back on.
Driverside- Reach behinde the headlight remove the rubber cover twist
the bulb out and replace. Not hard just have to be patient and you will
see how easy it is. Took me 5 min.
Pass Side- Ok you would think how to I reach back there? Ok ready>> Take out
the three screws that hold on the airbox cover. Take off the airbox
cover the whold back of the light is now exposed. Take off the rubber
and replace the light or lights. Super simple.
Ok a little complex. You have to open the hood. Look near the battery on the headlight assembly tou'll see a clip and a lever. You have to depress the clip and move the lever completely down. Lots of times seized. Use as much lube to release the slider. Once you get it low enough I use a suction cup on the headlamp and pull it out while moving the lever down. Once they line up inside you can pull out the assembly to change the bulb. Sometimes we have to replace the slider guide in the head lamp retainer when they break. Sometimes not an easy fix.
